How To Make Jeep More Fuel Efficient & Make More Power (Thorton Chip Review)

In this video I talk about how to make Jeep more fuel efficient as well as make more power Jeep Wrangler and finally Thorton Chip Review. If you have a truck or Jeep Wrangler, you probably know the fuel economy is the not the best. Especially after adding aftermarket accessories like bumpers, roof racks, taller tires etc. I read performance chips like Thorton increase mpg as well as increase horsepower and torque. For $80 I thought it would be worth a shot and I wanted to make this video review to share my experience.

Thorton chip tuning makes these performance chips for a large variety of vehicles not just Jeep Wranglers and trucks. They have different stages like stage 1, stage 2 and stage 3 all of which they say provide more power and miles per gallon.

From my testing, I noticed a 1.5-2mpg increase in fuel economy and more power when towing my Seadoo. I also noticed better throttle response. I cannot say I noticed too much more power when not towing. I read that these performance chips sometimes work better for forced induction vehicles like turbochargers or superchargers.
