I use my camera a lot and use an external microphone for better audio quality. I plug my mic into the mic port on my camera which is a 3.5mm jack port. The other day, my camera fell over on my tripod, breaking off the jack inside the mic port. Because it's so far in there, you are unable to easily remove it using your fingers. There a few methods online using different methods like a pen tube to remove it. But I have this does not work that well. That is why I recommend using epoxy glue and a small nail to grip the broken jack and pull it out or take out after it dries.
