Elsie Hall and Bruce Hungerford in Conversation (1963)

Two Australian-born pianists chatting with each other: Elsie Hall (1877-1976) and Bruce Hungerford (1922-1977). Occasionally, another lady joins the conversation but I couldn't quite recognize her name (she is mentioned at 30:21).
This was recorded on April 26, 1963 in Ambach on Lake Starnberg in Bavaria, where Hungerford lived from 1958 till he returned to America in 1967.
Roughly, the following subjects were discussed:
1:10 on performing, performers and memory lapses
6:15 on Clara Schumann
7:57 on G.B. Shaw and Hall's family
11:50 on East-German audiences and (musical) life
16:18 on Brahms and Clara Schumann
21:00 on Hermann Scherchen
29:27 on Wilhelm Backhaus
NB: Marston will be releasing Elsie Hall's rare recordings on their next issue of "Landmarks of Recorded Pianism". It will also include the performance of Bach's Partita in C-minor that was mentioned here in the beginning.
