Speaker Bio: Dr. Shehata earned his Ph.D. at the University of Waterloo in machine learning and natural language understanding a decade ago where he developed awarding winning research and authored patents. His research work in the areas of machine learning and artificial intelligence has been recognized and published in top conferences and journals. Before co-founding YOURIKA, Dr. Shehata spent a decade leading data science, business intelligence and engineering teams at Desire2Learn (D2L), one of the world’s prominent learning software companies.
