Audi Driver magazine's Project TT quattro Sport 240 shakedown at Castle Combe 15/8/15

This is footage of a few laps of Castle Combe in Audi Driver magazine's project TT, a limited edition quattro Sport 240. The car is mildly modified for track use with bigger ATE calipers and discs from the TT 3.2/Mk4 Golf R32, HEL front braided brake hoses, H&R suspension. The standard Pagid pads weren't up to more than a couple of laps although my novice driving style was a contributing factor. We will be fitting EBC Yellow Stuff pads and TT RS brake cooling ducts before the next track session.
Apart from that, the car performed admirably and later in the day with instruction from VW Cup racer Mark Smith I managed to use the brakes less and get faster using a higher gear through almost every corner.
The H&R chassis really has made a difference with superb stability on what is the most dangerous circuit in the UK.
