Marta Nomen is a social educator with specialization in drug dependence and activity in prisons. She is currently Director of Grup 33 and Co-Founder of UpSocial.

Here she talks about the need for prison reform. Prisons are meant to be places of reform, places to grow humanity. She believes that we can use this opportunity to promote and to educate about gender equality.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
