Peanut Butter Pie Crust With Surprise Filling

This was a recipe in development and it worked. Will be making this crust again for other fillings maybe banana cream pie or chocolate cream pie.

Next time I make this crust I will be leaving out the 1/4 cup butter and adding an additional 1/4 cup peanut butter to make a total of 3/4 cup peanut butter in the recipe.

Love the way this crust taste with a sweet filling.

Here's the recipe:
Pie Crust
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup softened butter
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/4 cup light brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg yolk
2 tablespoons ice water

10 " pie pan
Bake in preheated oven 375 degrees for 10-15 minutes
Allow this crust to cool completely before adding filling

Filling
3 ounce package of strawberry Jello
1/2 cup boiling water
8 ounces cream cheese
3/4 cup ice water
