Alex Weber - Malignancy - Profitable Extinction

Some of you might have seen on my IG stories that I recently got a Darkglass Electronics X Ultra. Now I've been able to give it a proper spin live and in my home studio and... HOLY CRAP!! This pedal is a definite game changer for me and will be a constant fixture on my pedalboard for a long time.

Because this pedal is so gnarly, I decided to make a couple of Malignancy videos where the only piece of gear I'm using (besides my bass DUH..) is the X Ultra. There's almost no post processing on this, save for adding an incredibly small amount of compression to the whole mix. What you're hearing is only the pedal! The first of these videos is for what's now probably my favorite Malignancy song to play, Profitable Extinction. SO much going on in this song and SO many heavy hitting riffs!
