Huizenga Holds Initial Oversight Hearing of Biden Administration’s Regulators

On Wednesday, March 8th, Congressman Bill Huizenga led the first House Financial Services Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee hearing. Inspectors General from the SEC, Federal Reserve/CFPB, and Treasury testified before the subcommittee. The purpose of the hearing was to examine the Biden Administration's wasteful spending and regulatory overreach.

In his opening statement, Huizenga discussed the need for Congress to reassert its constitutional authority to conduct oversight and hold bureaucrats in Washington accountable to the American people.
