Rosebud | How to Drink

On this episode of How to Drink, I’m taking a look at Citizen Kane’s Rosebud cocktail! Just like Citizen Kane, this drink is complex and wonderful filled with many ingredients. A delicious blend of rums and fruit juices to celebrate and pay homage to Citizen Kane, one of the greatest and most influential films of all time. Cheers!

Rosebud Ingredients
.75 oz. -or- 22 ml. Lime Juice
.25 oz. -or- 7 ml. Gum Syrup
.25 oz. -or- 7 ml. Passionfruit Juice
.25 oz. -or- 7 ml. Guave juice
.75 oz. -or- 22 ml. Amaro Averna
.25 oz. -or- 7 ml. Wray & Nephew Overproof Rum
1 oz. -or- 30 ml. Appleton Estate 12 Year Rum
Three Drops of Rosewater
One Egg White
Dry Shake
Shake with Ice
Serve into a chilled coupe
Garnish with dried rose buds
