Pack Rafting to Hot Springs on the Colorado River
We spent 4 days pack rafting the lower Colorado River below the Hoover Dam in the Black Canyon area. Hiking in from the Nevada side at Goldstrike Hot Springs. We blew up our packrafts and camped at many of the canyons down river while paddling and finding all sorts of hot spring sources along the way. We hiked out on the Arizona side of the river at Arizona Hot Springs.
This was our first time packrafting so we decided to pick somewhere with calm water using our Klymit Light Water Dinghys to get a feel for paddling etc. We found many hot spring sources, rope climbs, cliffs, animals, and even hidden petroglyphs!
