Easy and Delicious Picaditas With Green Salsa| Sopes, Gorditas o Pellizcadas

Hello my beautiful fam! Welcome back to my kitchen today I’m going to share with you how to make the best picaditas also known as sopes, huaraches, garnachas, depending on the toppings or the town you are eating them in. To me they are very similar to a sope, difference is that a picadita is more of a pinched tortilla cooked in lard, they are topped with salsa, cheese, onion and cream! Ingredients: 15 picaditas
2 lbs beef cubed
1/2 tsp cumin
Montreal steak seasoning
4 c Maseca
1 c all purpose flour
1/2 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tbsp salt
3 1/2 c warm water
8 chile serranos
5 Roma tomatoes
1/4 white onion
2 garlic cloves
Small bunch of cilantro
All vegetable shortening or lard
Oaxaca cheese
