Can investing in Funko Pops and Lego pay off? | Short Documentary | SBS The Feed

People buy toys for all sorts of reasons, but a couple of Australian investors hope their devotion to the collectible toys; Lego and Funko Pops, will set them up, financially for life. But just how much of a risk are they taking, and can it all fall out from underneath them?

Rod Addamo has been collecting Funko Pops for more than a decade, he claims that with more than 8000 Funko Pops he holds the Guinness World Record for the largest collection. He is also confident in saying his collection is worth half a million dollars.

Sean McConville has been a lifelong Lego fan he says he's invested around $400,000 into the collectible toy.
