MAMONT 20x24'' enlarger installation

Setting up, installation and calibration a unique 20x24'' LED horizontal enlarger in the Art of Foto darkroom, St.Petersburg.

Two years of work on the new enlarger in Wetzlar, the city of Leica. Then the transportation of this beast. And almost the entire last week Jürgen Heiland spent under or inside the enlarger, installing, setting up, connecting. As a result, we were able to make a quick test silver print from a 20x24'' negative. Everything is working! Amazing!

- Auto Alignment to the projection wall due to a 3
point Laser measurements
- Controlled by a microprocessor, not by a PC
- Wireless remote control enables operation of the
enlarger in front of the projection wall or from
anywhere in the darkroom. Operation of the
motorised axes by means of joysticks.
- Height of optical center to floor: Adjustable
between 90cm and 120cm
- Bright LED cold light source from 8x10inch up to
20x24inch
- No fan noise or vibration during exposure
- Max. distance between negative and lens: 110cm
- Light source and negative carrier could be rotated from portrait to landscape position
- The light source is tilted by 90 degrees and stops in a horizontal position to ease loading of the
negative.
- Dust identification system included in the negative carrier

- Motorised functions with variable speed: Carrier back/forth, focus back/forth, height and auto
alignment
- Only one cable connection necessary (mains voltage). Inlet via a 2m high column from the top
(ceiling). This column is equipped with a comfortable ‘Heiland safelight’
- In case of the 20x24 inch light source, certain areas of the light source could be switched on
and off separate to adapt to various negative sizes of 20x24 inch, 16x14 inch and 8x10 inch
- Fast and precise exchange of lens carriers instead of lenses. Available carriers cover the range
of all lenses with f=150 … f=1000 mm
- Exchangeable bellows with light-tight mount
- Could be operated by Splitgrade or the integrated timer or an external timer.
