EP21: Touring the Turquoise Coast | Pinnacles, Sandy Cape, Geralton, Hutt Lagoon | Lap of Australia

After escaping Perth lockdown just in time and stopping at a tiny rest stop with dozens of others who had the same idea, we’re ready to continue north. First stop was Cervantes where we spent a morning exploring around the stunning Pinnacles via a lovely little hike and a beautiful drive around the rock formations.

We then head toward the incredible Turquoise Coast, stopping by Jurien Bay, Sandy Cape, Green Head and Milligan’s Island, seeing some of the most beautiful colour water so far! A quick stop in Dongara before setting ourselves up at Oakabella Homestead while we spend a few wet and rainy days checking out Geraldton.

Finally we finish this week at breathtaking Hutt Lagoon, by far the pinkest lake we have seen so far and sitting right by Port Gregory was a lovely contrast of the turquoise waters nearby and the intense pink of the lake.

We are Hannah, Chris and dog Archie, setting off on a 12(ish) month trip around Australia - our BIG Staycation, with the whole of Australia as our backyard!
