Low Profile Deck Rebuild On Balcony

My house is identical to a bunch of others in my neighborhood except for a couple of unique additions made to my house. One is a door on the second story leading to the roof of the screen porch, which is now a balcony. Another unique feature is a storage room adjacent to the garage whose roof slopes down next to the balcony. I can step from the balcony to the lower part of the storage room roof and then walk up to the peak of that roof which is just a short hop onto the lower edge of the second story roof. Only my house has such easy access to the roofs. I like to watch rocket launches from the roof. My house is 11 miles from the launch site and the closest place you are allowed to be is 10 miles. So I usually watch from the roof instead of driving a mile closer and having a lower viewing spot.

The balcony is a real nice spot up in the treetops. Its nice to sit out there and watch the sunset, possibly with a beer, and some chips, and maybe a pickle.
