95th Street: Driving in Southside Chicago 4K Streets of the Americas

95th Street in South side Chicago runs east west and is also known as US 12 and 20. Even though small segment of 95th street can be traced faintly in Naperville out far west from Wolf Crossing Rd to Boughton Rd, it doesn't make its presence obvious until east side of Des Plaines River emerging from wooded area of Paw Paw Woods Nature Preserve in Willow Spring and run all the way to Calumet Park in the south shores of Lake Michigan passing through several suburbs and several neighborhoods in Chicago. It passes through city of Hickory Hills, Bridgeview, Oak Lawn, Evergreen Park and the Beverly, Washington Heights, Burnside Brainerd, Pullman and Calumet Heights neighborhoods in Chicago. It consists mixture of commercial residential and industrial components along the way.
Today we will be driving from Cicero Ave in City of Oak Lawn to Calumet Park, Ewing Ave in the east at the junction of US Highway 41. The Distance covered is 10.6 miles and the time took to complete was approximately 35 minutes. Enjoy
