In the first category of our annual ski tests we review the best men’s piste performance skis on offer.

Piste skis are, unsurprisingly, intended for use on piste, laying carving turns of all radii and switching from edge to edge in the blink of an eye is the name of the game. These piste planks are designed to maximise power transfer and grip, allowing you to easily initiate turns and accelerate through them all the way down the mountain, whether you are cruising home along a blue or charging down a steep black.
