Hey, it's Nick and Matt here at Powder7 in Golden, Colorado with our top picks for 2020 carving skis. These are the skis you want to be on for ripping frontside groomers as fast as you can.

First up, we have a brand new ski for 2020 from Salomon, the S Force Bold. These skis measure 84mm underfoot, and they are super quick edge to edge. We love ripping short, fast carves with them, but they also hold up and dampen vibrations when you ski faster and make longer turns. What an awesome choice for frontside exploration!

Next up, the new version of the Brahma from Blizzard. This 82mm version is narrower than the classic Brahma, making it even quicker and snappier. It holds a stellar edge, just like its predecessor, and it is versatile enough to ski anywhere on the mountain. This narrower edition is a great ski for aggressive frontside skiers anywhere, but especially out East.

Third, the Volkl Racetiger SL. This slalom-oriented version of Volkl's Racetiger lineup has a lightning-quick turning radius, and it's built with UVO technology to dampen vibrations as you rage through gates or turn groomers into blurs.

And last but not least, a brand new ski from Stockli: the Laser AR. These Swiss chargers combine the tips of the Laser AX with the tails of Stockli's freeride skis, the Stormriders.
