Explore the stunning beauty of Sua flower in Hanoi

Every year when March arrives, the Vietnamese capital city of Hanoi is given a new coat of pure white by a flower known scientifically as "Dalbergia Tonkinensis" or "Sưa" in Vietnamese.

The Sua trees have been listed as an endangered flora species in Vietnam, and it also figures in the international red list. Wood of the tree fetches around $100 per kilogram.
