Vietnamese welcome the Mid-Autumn Festival while the world is flooded with covid-19

Vietnam has just removed restrictions to deal with the covid-19 pandemic. So, the Hanoians flock to the streets to welcome the Mid-Autumn Festival also known as the Lantern Festival, Moon Festival or Mooncake Festival

Tết Trung Thu or Mid-autumn Festival, is also known in Vietnam as the "Children's Festival". Every Vietnamese child dreams about an amazing Tết Trung Thu with his or her own brightly lit lantern and a belly full of mooncakes.

Today, the festival remains as an essentials part in Vietnamese spiritual belief. Tết Trung Thu marks a joyous occasion when the work is finished and there's time to spend with loved ones.
