Midnight In The Median!!! 76,000 lbs in the Mud & Water!!!

Hello Ladies & Gentlemen and as always, thank you for watching!!! You just never know what the next call is going to bring. Tonight, I spend "Midnight In the Median", after a driver supposedly dropped off the edge of the road and got "sucked in" by the mud and water-filled median. We had some storms roll through earlier that evening that left the median a sloppy mess. It's difficult to see in the video, but the truck is buried pretty deep on the driver's side and there is 6-8" of water standing under and around the truck and trailer. This unit is loaded with a gross weight of around 76,000 lbs. I'm a little over an hour away from the shop. It's just me and our flagship #11, our Peterbilt 389X with a Miller Industries, Century 1150R rotator heavy towing and recovery unit versus this mired mess. Special thanks to the Missouri State Highway Patrol and the trooper who both "covered my 6" and patiently waited while I drove from our shop to the scene. I admit, both here and in the video, I took a short-cut to try to speed things up. This is not my normal way of doing things. It was a gamble, and, thankfully it worked.
