Easy Lemon Cake Recipe | Lemon Loaf Cake

I made an easy lemon cake recipe without sour cream and yogurt. The lemon glaze will balance the overall sweetness of the cake.

Tips:

1. For the lemon zest, take only the outer part of the lemon skin (yellow part, not the white part because the white part is bitter)

2. Use freshly grated lemon zest and freshly squeezed lemon juice to get the best flavor

3. Parchment paper for the loaf pan, cut longer like shown in the video to remove the cake easily after baking

4. This lemon cake can last at room temperature for up to 3 days.

5. Baking time and temperature depends on your oven type as it varies from oven to oven. Please adjust accordingly. Check at 40 minutes to be on the safe side by doing a skewer test.
1 CUP = 250 ml
TSP = Teaspoon
TBSP = Tablespoon
