Dutch Traditions: Bodegraven's Radio Broadcasts Raise Money for Queen Wilhelmina Cancer Fund (1951)

EN - The NCRV (a Dutch public broadcaster) started a series of radio broadcasts led by Johan Bodegraven in March 1950 to raise money for the Koningin Wilhelmina Fonds (Queen Wilhelmina Fund) for the fight against cancer. This action for aid, called "Haak-in", ends with an evening in the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. In the Large Hall are 2400 people, a representative part of the whole Dutch population.
