How to do Web Scraping with UiPath - Use Case

This video tutorial shows, how to Web Scrape in UiPath with a simple use case. We read data from Excel, perform Amazon searches and data scrape back to Excel.

We want to read an Excel sheet with topics, search the topics online (Amazon) and then scrape data back to Excel.

Specify the URL in a variable and place the variable in the Open Browser activity.

Read our Excel data into a Data Table.

3:08 Looping through our data
With a For Each Row we can loop through our Data Table data with search input. In the start of each loop remember to navigate to our start URL.

4:00 Type in our Amazon search

4:59 Web Scrape Wizard

7:00 Write our data back to Excel
With a Write Range we write our scraped data back to Excel

8:16 Close our Browser
With a Close Application we close our browser, in this case Internet Explorer. We tune the selector a bit.

10:19 Verifying our scraped data
