Parallax Bristol

Travelling through the city, especially Bristol, can often conjure some incredible parallaxing perspectives.
A while back, we needed to shoot some city scene cutaways and this seemed like the perfect excuse to finally realise a host of shots Jack, our Creative Director, has been dreaming of for around 5-6 years of cycling through the city. To properly capture the beauty of when foreground travels at different pace to background, we needed a long lens, our 110mm Mamiya 645, a camera with high frame rate, Sony FX6 and a gimbal, the ronin RS2.
These shots all hit the cutting room floor, but still deserved to see the light of day, so in our spare time we’ve thrown together this short selection of metropolitan, grimy yet starkly beautiful shots.
