Rejoice Avatar fans for The Legend of Korra has FINALLY joined Avatar: The Last Airbender on Netflix, where it belongs! Now we can all take another trip down memory lane, or a first trip for some of us, back through Republic City and the wild world of Avatar Korra.

What’s really fun is that now that everyone has seen both series, we can discuss some of the fandom’s favorite match-ups between the two.

For starters, there are the obvious ones. I mean there’s no way that we’re not going to try to figure out who the most powerful Avatar is now. Aside from that massively important matter, there are also the best of the firebenders, airbenders, waterbenders, earthbenders and non benders to figure out.
Not only that but there were some matches that totally should’ve happened in the series that didn’t. For example, I bet you didn’t even realize that a certain iconic pair of royal firebending brothers never even had a single scene together. There were also epic rivalries that the series set up only to let go without giving us that showdown we really needed.

Power alone isn’t enough to know who is going to win. We’ll analyze each character’s bending abilities, fighting styles, tactical mindsets and special skills as we pit them against one another to finally determine who all are the best of the best in the Avatar world.
