Macduff, unaware that Macbeth has brutally slaughtered his wife and children, has made his way to the English court where Malcolm is hiding out. He tries to get Malcolm to agree to return to Scotland to lead the fight to dethrone Macbeth so that he can take his rightful position as king. Malcolm, however, proves to be a particularly hard nut to crack. Can Macduff be trusted or is he just trying to trick Malcolm...?
