9-Ball - JONATHAN PINEGAR vs JOHN HAGER JR. - 2001 Derby City Classic

With the 2001 Derby City Classic 9-Ball division down to seven players, Jonathan Pinegar played John Hager Jr. to remain in the event.

Twenty six year old Jonathan Pinegar, would go on to a successful career in the game. Known more for his one pocket game, Pinegar was very capable of winning any 9-ball event he was entered into.

Hager, only 23, grew up around pool, as his father was a well known player. Hager’s future in pool might not have been as bright as Pinegar’s turned out to be, but Hager already had a second place finish in the one pocket division at this Derby City Classic.
