The second semi-final from the 2023 International 9-Ball Championship. This match was to determine who would go on to face Aloysius Yapp in the finals.

“El Matador” David Alcaide is a two time World Pool Masters Champion and has represented Team Europe four times at the Mosconi Cup.

This was Gerson Martinez’s first trip this deep in a major tournament. He had already proven that he had the firepower to compete at this level. Now, it was a question of whether he could get past the nerves of being this deep in the event.
