Session 4: Initiatives in Colombia and Ethiopia /Urban Expansion Webinar Series /NYU Marron

The Urban Expansion program has been working with municipalities in Ethiopia and Colombia, among other countries, on making minimal investments in their orderly expansion. This webinar introduces these two initiatives and engages a panel of planning and policy practitioners in light of the urgent need to plan and manage urban expansion, especially in countries still experiencing rapid urban-population growth. Senior Fellow Paul Romer serves as moderator.

The webinar is co-hosted by the Urban Expansion program and the journal "Buildings and Cities".
