With the success that some were having on YouTube and with mainstream eyes watching, it was inevitable that some internet stars would try to cross over. Few were truly successful outside of their medium and the rest eventually returned to what made them comfortable. The same can be said for mainstream celebrities, with the opportunity to boost their following among the younger generation being equally as enticing. Sadly these also seemed to not catch on the way they wanted to.
