Exploring Najran - The closest to Yemen we may ever come! نجران‎

The City of Najran نجران‎ sits in a valley right on the border of Saudi Arabia and Yemen.

We took full advantage of our day in the little Saudi border town of Najran. We hiked up to the highest view in the area, Castle Raom, and then we made our way to the Najran Fort and Market. After a great traditional Kabsa lunch, we visited Al Ukhded Archeological Site (you've GOT to listen to the history of this site - more at 4:46).

We wrapped up the evening at everyone's favorite coffee shop Central Perk - oh wait, no. It wasn't Central Perk, but we did find a 'Friends' themed coffee shop in the city!

تقع مدينة نجران نجران في واد على الحدود بين المملكة العربية السعودية واليمن.
