Al Wabah Crater - Camping and hiking into a VOLCANIC CRATER in Saudi Arabia! - رحلة الوعبة

Saudi Arabia Travel Vlog ► Al Wabah Crater is a volcanic maar crater on the edge of the Harrat Kishb lava field near Taif, Saudi Arabia. It's a great weekend getaway from KAUST, Jeddah, or Mecca and only takes about 3 1/2 to 4 hours from the coast.

This was our second trip to the Crater, and we traveled with a small group of friends to camp out in the lava field and hike to the salt pan at the bottom of Al-Waba Crater. The Crater is 2 kilometers wide and 250 meters deep down a windy, rocky path.

It was a quick 24-hour trip camping trip, but we had a great time exploring Al-Wabah Crater and checking out the nearby lava fields.

حفرة الوباء هي فوهة بركانية على حافة حقل حارة كشب البركاني بالقرب من الطائف بالمملكة العربية السعودية. إنها عطلة نهاية أسبوع رائعة من جامعة الملك عبدالله أو جدة أو مكة وتستغرق حوالي 3 إلى 4 ساعات فقط من الساحل.
