We all know about the biggest YouTubers on the platform like MrBeast, Airrack, Ryan Trahan, MKBHD, and MrWhoseTheBoss, but have you ever heard of a guy named Pavel Radaev? I’m gonna guess no but Pavel Radaev actually has over 1.2 billion subscribers on YouTube across his dozens of channels. Some of his most popular channels include Bright Side, 123 Go, 5 Minute Crafts, and Slick Slime Sam. All of these channels are owned by a corporation called The Soul Publishing which is led by Pavel Radaev. Despite its name, Soul Publishing is very much a soulless content farm that managed to do really well back in the late 2010s when YouTube centered around high click-through rates. But, as YouTube has shifted its focus to audience retention and satisfaction, most of Soul Publishing’s channels have started to see a massive decline. Bright Side for example has seen a decline of 70 to 75% in terms of viewership and some channels have even shut down like Actually Happened.
