藝術家夫妻深山相守40年 The Artist Couple’s 40 Years in the Mountains

“葉山”小鎮曾是昭和天皇住過的地方。40年前，藝術家夫婦真砂先生和妻子三千代，帶著剛出生的兒子移居葉山。最近，年近70歲的真砂先生，重新設計了自己的家，把普通的兩層小樓改造成集畫廊、工作室、住宅於一體的空間，並取名“明風”。“這種體驗我們希望能傳遞給更多人，所謂生活，也是一種設計。”

Emperor Hirohito once lived in Hayama town and 40 years ago, the artist couple Mr. Masago and his wife Michiyo moved here with their son. Lately, Mr. Masago who is almost 70 redesigned their house, transforming their two-storey home into a complex consisting of a gallery, a work station and a dwelling area, and gave it the name “Bright Wind”. “Our hope is to propagate the concept that life is a form of design”.
