Hi guys and welcoem to another video fo historicly, for today's video I welcome you all to remember the famous people who have passed away in 2022.

Jean-Luc Godard is recognized by film buffs as a revolutionizing man in cinema, he's a pioneer of French New Wave. He's the inspiration to many now-famous directors, most notably Quentin Tarantino. In Switzerland at the age of 91 he invoked his right to due of assisted suicide.

Ivana Trump made headlines when she first was seen with Donald Trump back in 76. She may be the Kardashian of this list, she's known to have held positions in Trump's projects, Ivana passed at the age of 73 due to blunt trauma caused by her falling down the stairs.

Tony Sirico or better yet known as Paulie Walnutts from The Sopranos, the cult tv show of mobsters. Tony is motly known for his gangster personna, fun fact he was an actual associate in the Colombo crime family throughout the 60s and 70s, when the books were opened he declined. Tony passed away at the age of 79. No cause of death as been given but people believe Dementia played a role.

James Caan is an actor known for being big in the 70s and 80s. His biggest role has to be as Vito Corleone's son in The Godfather, the role earned him Best Supporting Role nomination. James passed away at the age of 82, he had a heart attack.

Ray Liotta took the world by storm with his role as the gangster Henry Hill in the Goodfellas, his performance will forever be engraved in the gangster genre of movies. He's critically praised for his role in Fields of Dream. Also is the iconic voice of Tommy Vercetti in Vice City. He passed away at the age of 67, he died in his sleep.

Paul Sorvino was portrayed a strong figure in Goodfellas, he was Paul Cicero, a father figure to our young Henry. Paul is known to have had roles in both sides of the law, these roles being of an authorative nature. He passed away at the age of 83, he had problems with diabetes.

Bob Saget started his career as a stand-up comedian and moved on to TV SHOWS where he starred in Full House. Recently Netflix decided to remake it into Fuller House. Most importantly Bob Saget is the voice in How I Met Your Mother. Bob died at the age of 65, cause of trauma to his head.

Peter Bogdanovich is a director who at the beginning of his career was a movie critic. He has made the movie The Last Picture Show, Funny Moon, What's up Doc?, his latest movie was the screwball comedy, She's Funny That Way in 2014. He passed away at the age of 82, he was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease which eventually lead to his death.

Mikhail Gorbachev was the former Soviet president. Gorbachev won a Nobel Prize for finally ending the Cold War. He had brought down the Iron Curtain. Gorbachev will be remembered as a friend of President Ronald Regan, they had both worked together to get the coutnries out of the Cold War. He died at the age of 91, his cause of death is not listed.

Queen Elizabeth II, the 70 year reigning monarch of the United Kingdom. She ascended the throne in 1952 at the age of 25. She's overseen 15 UK Prime Ministers, 14 US Presidents, Queen Elizabeth II was devoted to serving her country, amids wars, pandemics, terrorist attacks. She passed away a the age of 96, the cause of death is believed to be a broken heart. Her husband, Prince Philip died in 2021.

Artis Leon Ivey Junior, known better by his stage name, Coolio. He's the rapper behind one of the biggest records, the cult icon underground song, Gangsta's Paradise. Yes, you've most definitely heard of this song. During the 90s, Coolio hit it big with these three albums, It Takes a thief, Gangstas Paradise and My Soul. It is believed that he passed away to cardiac arrest, at the age of 59.
