QA in London - Heuristics and Why You Should Care About Them, with James Bach - 25/06/2020
Summary:
In any skilled problem-solving activity, the proper use of heuristics is critical to success. Yet, most people don’t know what they are or how to talk about them. In this webinar, I will explain heuristics, explain why they matter, and show you at least one in action.
About the speaker:
James is an expert within the field of software testing, a successful coach and has written two books: Lessons Learned in Software Testing (with Cem Kaner and Bret Pettichord) and a book about succeeding without going to school called Secrets of a Buccaneer-Scholar. Well known for his advocacy of Exploratory Testing, the Context-Driven School of testing and developing the Session-based Testing approach. More recently he has created the Rapid Software Testing (RST) methodology and has been focusing on making improvements within this methodology along with extensive training, which you can find out more through his website and blogs below.
