NAVIGATING KUALA LUMPUR'S PUBLIC TRANSIT -- Malaysia // 239

The transit system in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia can be a nightmare! In this video, I break it all down as best I can.

For more information on the transit system in Kuala Lumpur, including transit metro/train schedules, transit maps, bus routes, etc., go to www.myrapid.com.my. You can even put in your location and destination to see your commuting options.

KL transit and transportation is extensive. The trains (LRT, MRT, Monorail, KMT) alone have 10 different lines. Then there are the buses which are basically everywhere.

Here's a quick breakdown of the cost, speed, and stops:
Bus: cheap, slow, convenient stops (avg. 1-3 MYR/ride)
Metro: less cheap, fast, fewer stops (avg. 2-6 MYR/ride)
Taxis: expensive, slow, one destination (~2MYR/km)
