Would Allah Punish Jesus and Mary? Tawhid Dilemma Ep. 10

As we continue this series, we follow up on the previous episode where Sam Shamoun and Al Fadi briefly introduced Jesus’s sinless nature starting with a hadith from al-Bukhari which shows Muhammad admitting the sins of all the prophets which therefore disqualifies them from interceding for others.

However when reading this, we find NO sins attributed to Jesus (Isa), yet somehow Jesus is still not qualified to intercede. According to the text, ONLY Muhammad can intercede, even though he has sinned.

If this wasn’t enough evidence of Mary and Jesus’s sinless natures, we find a quote from al-Tabari which says that “Jesus and his mother did not commit any of the sins which the rest of the children of Adam commit.”

So in establishing the perfection of Mary and Jesus, Sam Shamoun then applies Quranic logic to Surah 16 Ayat 61 (chapter 16 verse 61) which says that if Allah were to punish mankind for their sins, he would not leave a living creature alive.
So the question remains, if Allah were to wipe out every living creature for their wrongdoings, what then of Jesus (Isa) and Mary, given the fact that they are sinless? Unless of course they are not creatures…
