Italian VAT fiscal representative

The Italian fiscal representative allows non EU businesses to comply with the Italian regulations without setting up a local entity. The foreign business appoints a fiscal representative in Italy to deal with the local indirect taxes such as VAT, or registrar tax on their behalf.

The local representative is responsible to pay any tax due as well as file the appropriate returns as requested by the laws of Italy.
