Sub-Saharan Africa economies set to rebound this year
Economic growth rates in sub-Saharan Africa are forecast to rebound to 3.8 percent in 2024 up from 3.4 percent in 2023. The expansions are still too slow to make a meaningful dent in poverty reduction says IMF Deputy Division Chief in the African Department, Wenjie Chen.
