When i see a recipe online, specially cooking hacks, I have to try it. I am not a particularly good cook, so if there's an easy way to make delicious food, you bet I'm in. And when i saw this KFC Rice Cooker hack that delivers delicious chicken rice... i couldn't not try it.

And spoiler alert, this one was both easy AND delicious, so you should definitely give it a go. '

KFC Rice Cooker Chicken Recipe
1 rice cooker cup, uncooked rice
1 tablespoon soy sauce
chicken broth (or 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon)
2 original KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) Original Recipe

Now I wanted to switch things up a little bit, and since one of my all time favourite comfort foods is Hainanese Chicken Rice, I thought, why not make all the Hainanese Chicken Rice sauces?

Ginger & Shallot Sauce
2 Spring Onion
1 tablespoon grated ginger
3 tablespoon peanut oil
pinch of salt

Chili & Garlic Sauce
half a chili
4 cloves garlic
1 tablespoon sugar
pinch of salt
1 teaspoon chicken broth

Soy Sauce (this is so basic lol)
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon chicken broth

These sauces brings so much to the chicken dish, especially the ginger and Shallot Sauce mix. it just completely elevates it. if you are going to try out this KFC Rice Cook Hack, and you can only be bothered to make once sauce mix, make it the ginger and shallot sauce.
