Safe Quiet Dry-Fire Practice

On an online forum a guy casually mentioned this tip and I wish I could remember where to credit him, but the main point is the tip.
For the Glock, S&W, H&K... polymer DA ONLY pistol crowd this will not be any use; but then they obviously don't care about a light, short, smooth, trigger pull do they?
