☆ Some Observations, Mistakes and Key Points to Remember

↪︎ India is kite-shaped. Here common mistake we do while drawing we draw a diamond shaped India and our map ends up looking like something else.
↪︎ The western coastline is straight single line segmentEastern coastline consists of two lines. One vertical and other 45 degrees inclined
↪︎ You can use Kashmir to locate Kanyakumari down south. As shown in the figure.
↪︎ Sikkim and Sundarban are in the same line vertically or at the same longitude.
↪︎ Similarly Gir, Kathiawar peninsula and Sundarbans are at same latitude
↪︎ Tropic of Capricorn dissects India in two equal parts
↪︎ Uttarakhand- Nepal border and Punjab- Pakistan border are parallel to each other.
↪︎ Rajasthan - Pakistan border and Andhra Pradesh coastline are parallel to each other not exactly but approximately.
↪︎ Map of Bangladesh is a mini version of Indian map (not exactly)
↪︎ Meghalaya - Bangladesh boundary is a horizontal line.
