In today’s video I am talking about healthy scalp care and showing you different at home scalp treatments. I am showing you my favorite scalp care products and DIY scalp care treatments you can make at home. I’m giving you tips to combat scalp dryness and get rid of product buildup.

*The banana mask was not my favorite because it was SO hard to wash out. I really did like how my hair felt afterwards but because it was so hard to rinse out, it makes me not want to recommend it. The only way I would do banana again is if I ground it up completely so there weren’t any chunks in it.

DIY TREATMENTS-
1/4 cup Plain Yogurt, 1 Egg White, and 1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
1 mashed Banana and 1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
1 Tbsp. Aloe Vera, 1 Tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar, and 3-5 drops Tea Tree Oil

Yogurt benefits: moisturizing and nourishing
Egg white benefits: cleanses scalp, strengthens hair, promotes growth
Olive oil benefits: moisturizing, smoothing, treats dandruff
Banana benefits: nourishing, moisturizing, antimicrobial
Aloe vera benefits: anti-inflammatory, reduce skin irritation, moisturizing
Apple cider vinegar benefits: antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, relieves itchiness
Tea tree oil: antiseptic, antifungal, antibiotic
