I Replicated World's First Useful Electric Motor

I graduated from batteries, and am now going for electric motors, eh? In this video I build a small-scale replica of the world's first useful electric motor - the Jacobi motor. (No, I do not consider a bunch of solenoids pressing ink onto paper an electric "motor") I also replicated the use case that the Jacobi motor had - to power a boat!

Jacobi motor is a brushed direct current electric motor. It is also technically an axial flux type motor. And since I have figured that I'd like to design and build an axial flux type motor in the future, then going back to the roots with this Jacobi motor, made a lot of sense!

I hope you enjoyed the video, don't forget to like and subscribe!
