3D Printed Microphone Mod for Distant Recordings

Hi!
This spring I made a small parabolic microphone setup, using a consumer
grade smartphone microphone and some 3d printed parts. Admittedly, the
result is a little bit underwhelming, but it is a good proof of concept
none-the-less, for it did end up objectively improving the sound
quality.
If You would like to also try your hand at this project, then I suggest
designing a larger parabolic dish and get yourself a microphone that is
better suited to be used in a parabolic microphone setup.
To learn more about microphone polar patterns as hinted at in the video,
then I can recommend this blog: https://mynewmicrophone.com/the-complete-guide-to-microphone-polar-patterns/
If you have any questions then comments are more than welcome! I will do my best to answer!
