Dissassembly of a RV Electric Stabilizer Jack electric motor

Dissassembly of a Klauber C800 electric motor. This was a 3 year old 2014 Jayco Eagle RV with a Lippert stabilizer motor that stopped working. After testing the power we discovered that moving the wire at the motor body would periodically engage the motor. We were thinking broken wire but it was more likely just the dirty commutator. With the limited tools at camp we took apart the motor and returned it working order. If you are under Warranty... DON't take apart your motor... let them fix it. The electric jack does have a manual override procedure. It does say to disconnect the electric connection to the motor. That would be at the disconnect they don't five you. If you have the single motor stabilizer, the manual override should be a pin on the end of the shaft opposite the motor that one of your crank handles should fit on.
