DIY Drawer LED lighting and illumination Instructional Video

Change the way you see things. DIY video shows the LED lighting illumination of drawers in Dressers and a kitchen cabinets. This video will show you how to wire and power your drawer illumination project. There are lots of variations in drawer construction. This video will help you think through your configuration to figure out what you need to do to have a successful implementation.

Some of the materials used:
LE LightingEver 2835 Lights, LE 4100057-WW and 4100058-WW shown
LED powersupply (likely low amperage.. these LE's are 12v DC 2amp per roll... 5M... 16.5') LE has nice UL listed power supplies.
TEMCo Micro Limit Switches
18/2 security wire from the local HW store 22/2 if you find that to be the size you need.

G1790853 Size #3, 1/2 In, Phillips
G2353154 Round Head, #2, 1/2 In, Slotted,
G1571062 Wood Screw, Flat Head, Brass, Size #3, 3/4 In, Phillips,
Terminal block 5amp (under 1/2" tall)
long drill bit may be needed 1/8" diameter... for wood.
If you need to do the caddy design, wood 1/2 x 3/4" finished size should work in most cases
1 foot of 18/2 solid thermostate wire
1/4" thick stock ... shown is 1.75" wide... and plastic in the trim store

Heat shrink is optional

For a connection from the wiring harness to the 12V power supply.. a 5.5 mm x 2.5mm Female power connector. In the video I show the fuse assembly and the Panel mount female connector and the fuse mounted on an L bracket.
